Ko Chang

Ko Chang (Elephant Island) is the main island in the Mu Chang Marine National Park.

It is with its 492 sq km the second largest island in Thailand after Phuket.

Ko Chang itself has about 70% undisturbed rainforest - the best preserved in Thailand -with steep hills and cliffs reaching as high as 743m.

Ko Chang has fine white sand beaches and it is sparsely populated. There are no towns and only a few roads, which makes it a kind of paradise island.

Ko Chang White Sands Beach

(Haad Sai Khao)

This is the most popular and developed beach, situated at the upper West coast of Ko Chang.
