Khong Chiam

Khong Chiam is situated on a picturesque peninsula formed

by the confluence of the Mekong and the Moon river (Mae Nam Mun)

Pha Taem

Close to Kong Chiam is a tall stone cliff called Pha Taem.

 Pha Taem means ‘painted rock’.

This cliff is 200 meters long and has prehistoric rock art, that is at least 3000 years old.

Most probably these paintings have been made in shamanic trances,

all over the world these paintings are similar.
