3011 Mandalay Hill climb

The legend tells that the Buddha climbed Mandalay Hill while on one of his visits to Myanmar.
He prophesied that a great city would be founded below the hill in 1857,
the year King Mindon Min decreed the move from Amarapura to Mandalay.
The statue represents the Buddha pointing to where the city would be built.
